Bio:
I really hate these bio things... but if I
could sum up how I would describe myself I
would have to say, "I've done so much with
so little for so long... I can now do anything
with nothing"
I'm the kind of person that likes to take
my work home with me, and vise versa take
my personal ideas and hobbies and apply them
at work. Fortunately I have an employer that
is very supportive and helps facilitate this.
I have invested a lot of time into development
of new rack mount technologies and ways to
make server rooms more efficient and scalable.
My hobbies and interests are broad: some of
the more applicable here are rack modding
(the development of new rack mount tech, and
the un-industrialization of the technology
into a more main stream audience), Computer
Security (white hat with grey tendencies),
Overclocking and inventing new items, and
reinventing existing items to fill rolls not
originally intended. (Putting a P4 in a Mac
G3 Case).
I am a big fan of both Linux and Microsoft
technologies, and I firmly believe both have
very unique and valuable niches that the other
can not reality fit. But I will admit with
me nothing is sacred, and every one is
fair game. Regardless of camps or technologies.
One thing I am not is a zelot to someone or
something I dont believe in.
